Recent Work | Arkansas Commercial Photography

In this edition of “busy season craziness but here’s a recent work update”, we’ve got everything from farms, to pool parties, to cocktails, high-powered spray washers, hotel grand openings, moody portraits and even a possible Alexander Calder sculpture (verification pending). I’m sure we’ll do all this again in September. In the meantime, stay healthy, stay cool and stay awesome.

Cheers.

Neal Family Farm | Arkansas Commercial Photography

The Neal Family Farm is wildly popular with residents of Northwest Arkansas. And while they are best known for their delicious blueberries, this year (and for the first time ever), they decided to plant tulips. As you can see from the photos, the results were stunning. We were happy to work with their marketing agency, Fuss Consulting, to document the opening day. Here’s a few photos from the event. For more information on their tulips and their upcoming blueberry season, visit their website, their Facebook page or give them a follow on instagram

Center for Arkansas Farms and Food | Arkansas Commercial Photography

It’s always a joy to work with the fine folks at the University of Arkansas’s Center for Arkansas Farms and Food. (CAFF). The University’s continued support of educating both college aged students as well as interested adults on the fundamentals of farming, is noteworthy and commendable. A few times a year, we highlight certain students for their newsletter and blog. Here’s a few images from our recent visit.

Enjoy.

Recently in Images | Arkansas Commercial Photography

It is now November and the last time we updated the blog was after weeks and weeks of busyness and travel. It’s safe to say that aside from constant travel, things haven’t changed much. And for the most part, we’re not complaining. In fact recently, we had a first for the studio…live music. And that was so fun, we’ll be doing it again. But consistent photoshoots and video shoots followed by editing and managing those aforementioned shoots does create difficulties in keeping up with the normal, everyday tasks of managing and marketing a business. But today, we’re making time and space to share some images from the recent weeks. We sincerely hope that everyone is able to make some space to enjoy the cooler temperatures, the changing leaves, and life in general.

Happy Fall, Y’all.

Center for Arkansas Farms & Food | Arkansas Commercial Photography

Clicking camera buttons and keyboard keys all day leaves me itching to decompress by getting my hands dirty. Oftentimes, that happens by riding a bike (in which case, it’s my legs that get dirty). But I also enjoy cooking and as most everyone who has even flirted with the idea of learning to cook better, good food begins with good ingredients. At the Center for Arkansas Farms and Food, the University of Arkansas is giving people the chance to get an education and an experience in the world of farming. (Click to Read More)

NRCS Arkansas | Arkansas Editorial Photography

This week on the blog, we’re sharing some images from a project we’ve been working on for the past year. In the Spring of 2020 (you know, the one where the world completely shut down…), we were contracted by the NRCS to work on a book project for some of their grant recipients. Over the course of the last year, we’ve traveled around, meeting these grant recipients, spending some time with them on their farms and properties and documenting the ways in which they’ve utilized fencing, wells, irrigation systems, rotator crops, and animals to make food while caring for, protecting and even encouraging the development of their natural resources.

CAFF | Northwest Arkansas Commercial Photography

For the past couple of years, we have been working with the University of Arkansas’s Center for Farms and Food (CAFF) to document and promote the work they are doing. CAFF was developed to strengthen and expand the area’s food and farming system, enhance local communities, and provide opportunities for farmers, food entrepreneurs and food system leaders. Combining traditional and experiential learning opportunities, their Farm School and Apprenticeship programs teach the production and business skills to develop resilient and sustainable businesses.

As Spring approaches and our schedules are once again getting filled up with photo and video work for CAFF, we thought we would share a few images from our work with them last year. For more information on CAFF or to apply for one of their programs, visit their website.

Enjoy!
