The best part about doing bridal portraits after your wedding is that your husband gets to go along with you. And it's even better, when...

Courtney Roza | Frisco Texas Bridal Portraits
We've been posting about twins a lot lately. And so we thought it fitting to continue the trend with this beautiful bride who happens to be an identical twin. Meet Courtney Roza (now Boye). If she looks familiar, it's because we photographed her sister Kelsey last year. A few weeks before her wedding, I traveled to Texas for this shoot and I had a blast hanging out with Courtney and her family. Her brother even introduced me to the best little burger joint ever. This trip to Texas was made even more special by the fact that Courtney and her family shared stories and words of wisdom on raising to twins. As you probably know, this information has become ever more relevant to us in the past few days. We'll be posting photos of her wedding in the very near future. In the meantime, enjoy some of our favorite images from her bridal shoot.
A Bridal Session // Everything but the Bridals :)
Last week, I traveled to Celina Texas to create some Bridal Portraits for a beautiful bride-to-be by the name of Courtney Roza. Courtney is an identical twin sister to another beautiful bride we worked with, Kelsey (now Difani). Over the course of the last year, we've become great friends with both Courtney and Kelsey, their significant others and also, their family. Their family has very graciously opened up their home to us numerous times and we always have a great time with them. In fact, they've become like family to us. This past week was especially memorable as we shared stories and experiences about life with twins. Although we can't show you any of the actual bridal portraits for another few weeks, we thought it would be fun to post some "behind the scenes" photos from our time in Texas. Have a great weekend and enjoy.
2013 // A Year In Images | Northwest Arkansas Photography
If I had to pick one word to sum up the year, I don't know what it would be. I suppose you can't pick just one word to sum up anything. They say a picture is worth a thousand words. And this blog post, with it's "20+" images would mathematically be more words than I would care to list out here. But hopefully, these images in some small way, begin to describe how much fun we've had being creative in 2013 (and quite possibly, late 2012). We're truly thankful for this last year and we're very excited for the next. Onward and Enjoy.
Kelsey Roza | Northwest Arkansas Bridal Portraits
She looked even more beautiful on her wedding day, if you can believe it. Congratulations Josh and Kelsey, let the journey begin.
(Wedding photos coming soon)
Nicky Hodoway | Northwest Arkansas Bridal Portraits
Our sincerest congratulations to Nick & Nicky DeMoss. And no, you're not seeing things. We actually did go to a bowling alley for some of these bridal shots. Nick and Nicky went bowling on their first date so Nicky thought it would be fun to stop there for some photos. Of course we thought so too. Now that they're officially married, we're sharing a few of our favorites. Sneak peek wedding photos to come. Happy Monday!
Ryan & Amanda | Tulsa Oklahoma Wedding Photography
This past weekend, I had the honor and privilege of witnessing one of my very dear friends marry the girl that he has grown to know and love. I've known Ryan for years now. I remember the time we drove to Little Rock to see the band Wilco perform. I remember a road trip to Florida complete with the entire series of Friends, ocean-side shenanigans and the theft of a piece of musical equipment that we blamed on a local "pirate". I also remember conversations about life, love and the vast expanse in between. So it was with a great mix of emotions that I witnessed and photographed his wedding. But on top of all the emotions is the satisfaction of knowing that he has found a deep love and connection with Amanda, who seems to makes him smile wider and laugh louder than I've ever seen or heard. Congratulations, you two.
Danielle | Northwest Arkansas Bridal Photography
A recent bridal shoot with the beautiful Danielle Elson proved to us that some girls really don't care that it's freezing cold outside. They just want beautiful pictures in their wedding dress and they're willing to brave the cold and the gloom to get them. To be honest, we did mix it up with indoor and outdoor locations. But during our time outdoors, Danielle (who stands barely 5 feet tall and weighs next to nothing) had a blast hamming it up for the camera. And for the record, my teeth were chattering. Here's a few of our favorite images from the shoot. Enjoy.
