Artist Linda Lopez | Northwest Arkansas Editorial Photography
I recently had the opportunity to visit with and photograph artist Linda Lopez for an upcoming issue of Arkansas Made Magazine. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…I am always inspired when I have the opportunity to watch and learn from artists working in other mediums. And I don’t think this revelation is limited to just artists, either. So no matter what line of work you’re in, take this little blurb, run with it and go learn something about someone else’s line of work. Cheers.
Shirepost Mint | Northwest Arkansas Editorial Photography
It never ceases to amaze me the local talent I discover as a working photographer. One of my recent photo shoots for Arkansas Made Magazine led me to Springdale, Arkansas where Shirepost Mint has been making custom fantasy coins since 2001. I had a blast touring their facility, hearing the story of how their business started and how it grew to receive national and worldwide attention. Enjoy the images and be sure to look for the article in the upcoming issue of Arkansas Made Magazine.
Little Mountain Bindery | Arkansas Editorial Photography
Oh what fun I had on this little photoshoot. For those of you who know me best, you’ll know that I have a certain affinity for books so I can certainly appreciate someone like Lesha of Little Mountain Bindery, who has dedicated her life to pursuing the craft of creating and preserving them. What I didn’t expect to discover, is…

Assemblage | Northwest Arkansas Commercial Photography
Say hello to the the fine craftsman at the company, Assemblage. Nestled in the beautiful hills of Madison County, this small company hand-crafts (in their own words), "bespoke wall coverings" for a wide range of high-end clients. I had the opportunity to hang out at their workspace, an older but renovated rural factory building and photograph them for Arkansas Made Magazine. Here's a few of my favorite images. Enjoy.
Timbernak Designs | Northwest Arkansas Editorial Photography
Many know Scott Schroen (Shh-rain) as a tall, lanky mountain biking machine. As the General Manager of Phat Tire Bike Shop, it's true that he spends most of his time working in the cycling world. What you may not know about Scott though, is that he loves (and is equally talented at) wood working. And lately, he's been balancing out the stresses of work and life by quietly designing and building high quality wood furniture out of his well-equipped garage/workshop. His most popular product is the Ozark Chair which features the state of Arkansas in the design of the chair, beautifully carved out of wood and perfect for porch or lawn sit'n.
I recently had the opportunity to hang out with Scott for a bit and to document some of the building process for Arkansas Wild Magazine. Scroll down to see a few of my favorite images from my afternoon with him as well as information on Scott's wood-working business, Timbernak Designs.

Perrodin Supply Co. | Northwest Arkansas Commercial Photography
Say hello to Jonathan & Amber Perrodin. Together, they are Perrodin Supply Co. And for the record, they are also responsible for The Little Craft Show and #TeamSpringdale. They work out of a beautifully rough workspace that they call, "The Hatchery". Located in the downtown Springdale area, the Perrodins spend their days creating beautiful things. Amber has a background in Printmaking and also enjoys creating mixed media pieces while Jonathan enjoys woodworking and makes canvases and wooden decor.
I had the opportunity to hang out with Jonathan and Amber in their workspace, camera in-hand. Here are a few images from our morning together. Look for them in the upcoming issue of Arkansas Made Magazine.
