It was an inevitable reality that we’d focus at least a few of these posts on our work in the cycling industry. Today, we’re reliving last summer’s Arkansas Enduro Series and hoping that this year’s series will still be able to happen, at least partially. In the meantime, keep up the 6 feet apart social distancing pedaling and shredding.

Happy Fall Everyone. The new Bike Arkansas Magazine recently hit the shelves, stands and displays around here and it's chock-full of valuable information on everything from enjoying the local trails, to gear suggestions and probably most importantly, the upcoming International Mountain Bike Association (IMBA) World Summit. Anyone who hasn't been living under a large amount of Arkansas bedrock over the last few years will tell you that the sport of mountain biking is literally taking off in our little corner of the state. And in case you've ever been riding the trails and wondered to yourself...

Say hello to The Highroller Cyclery. Since 1972, they've been helping people experience the joy and the adventure of cycling. They started out in Fayetteville and in 2013, opened their second location in Rogers. I was hired to produce an updated website for them and of course, that meant spending some time photographing their locations as well. Say hello to the Phat Tire Racing Team. But make it quick, because they'll be long gone before you get to the double ll's. These riders are the real deal. They train together, race together, hang out and even volunteer together. And while they train on all of the nearby trials, their home turf is the Slaughter Pen Mountain Bike trails of Bentonville Arkansas. This particular trail system is certified as a Silver Level Ride Center by the International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA), making it a destination for out-of-towners and local riders alike. I recently had the opportunity to hang out with some of the riders that make up the Phat Tire Racing Team and I managed to get them to slow down enough for a few photos. Thus far, April has been one of the busiest months we've had...and we're only half way thru it.  So far, we've spent the month traveling, working on design projects, planning a video, writing music and gearing up for upcoming commercial photography jobs and weddings.
