Today on the blog: Recent work from a photoshoot with Grace Manufacturing Company in Russellville, Arkansas. Grace Manufacturing uses state-of-the-art technology and mechanical systems to create high-precision metal and plastic parts for clients and customers in a wide range of industries, especially the medical field. This photoshoot was a perfect example of why commercial photography is always appealing. As a commercial photographer, you have the opportunity to be immersed into a world you know nothing about and to learn as you create. Thanks for reading and for perusing.

Congratulations to writers Lacey Thacker and Sara Mitchell on the launch of their brand new book, Rooted: Central Arkansas Farm & Table. We’ve had the honor and privilege for working with them along with Etalia Press on this project, meeting the wonderful farmers, chefs and creatives, hearing about their stories and their contributions, and photographing them for this book. The resulting publication was released last week to the public via a special party held (in true Rooted fashion), at an outdoor garden. It's always a fun adventure creating images for Arkansas Wild Magazine. I am continually challenged as a photographer when working with them and I am grateful for all of the beautiful places in our state that they send me to. You know you're in the thick of a busy season when you just so happen to click on a professional social network only to find that...

I recently had the opportunity to travel around the beautiful state of Arkansas with the Fayetteville based design firm DOXA, to create images for the new Bear State Bank. Bear State Financial recently purchased a few different banks in Arkansas and Oklahoma and they wanted to incorporate imagery of all the employees in their new internal and external marketing materials. Over the course of a 2 week period, I had the opportunity to travel to the different branches, meet the employees and photograph them in their work environments. Today, I'm excited to share some portraits of the incredible people that I met while working on this project.
