2021 Red Bull Pumptrack Qualifier | Arkansas Cycling Photography
We had a blast covering the 2021 Red Bull Pumptrack World Championship Qualifier event last weekend. Congrats to all the participants and winners for showing up, riding hard and giving us plenty of opportunities to capture the action, excitement, emotion and friendly atmosphere. Today, we’re sharing a few of the images from the event. Enjoy!
Bike POC NWA | Arkansas Commercial Event Photography
A couple weeks ago, we had the unique opportunity to spend time with two of the world’s great professional cyclists, Rahsaan Bahati and Eliot Jackson. The two riders spent the week hanging out and enjoying our area’s various cycling amenities while also working with the our area’s local chapter of BikePOC and BikeNWA, to promote the process of creating intentional spaces for BIPOC and other marginalized peoples to explore cycling in Northwest Arkansas.
The weeklong series of events included…(click to read more)

Ella's Table | Northwest Arkansas Food Photography
Today on the blog: Recent work for Ella’s Table and their new fall menu options. Located at The Inn at Carnall Hall, Ella’s has been a Fayetteville and University of Arkansas institution for some time and as the world is figuring out how to navigate a worldwide pandemic, it was nice to see people once again enjoying the restaurant. As a food photographer, I have to try and remain an impartial judge when it comes to favorite dishes. But if you were to ask my opinion as a lowly patron and customer, I’d say that the pizza has literally “got it goin on”.
You’re welcome.
Cheers, friends.
A Spring BRAKE Message / Northwest Arkansas Commercial Photography
It seems surreal to be writing a blog post during these unprecedented times. Just 2 weeks ago, the signs of spring and the workload that typically follows, was buzzing with activity and promise. And then, everything literally stopped.
Literally.
Stopped.
In the days that followed…
Paxton & Laura | Northwest Arkansas Wedding Photography
Congratulations and Best Wishes to Paxton and Laura who were married recently on a beautiful Saturday that also happened to be Cinco De Mayo. In accordance with the holiday, there was a Sombrero and a couple of fake mustaches on hand and the photographers (Thanks to my good friend Jared Sorrells for spending the day with me) as well as the groomsmen put them to good use during picture time. The weather was nice and the family and friends were even nicer and it was in fact, one of my favorite weddings ever.
But this was without a doubt, the hardest wedding I've ever been a part of as well…
Shelby King | Northwest Arkansas Portrait Photography
Congratulations to Shelby King, who is getting ready to graduate college and spend a few months in the beautiful country of Ireland. And yes, she's taking that pretty orange bike along for the adventure. So of course it was only fitting that the bike be in her graduation portraits as well. Here's a few of my favorites. Happy Friday!
Nick & Jessica | Northwest Arkansas Engagement Photography
When your wedding clients need a few engagement photos for their save the date cards, you make quick arrangements, squish schedules and have some fun for an hour or so. That's just what Nick, Jessica and myself did earlier this year and it was a lot of fun. In the course of an hour, they rode bicycles, posed on construction equipment, sprayed a bottle of champagne and still had time to get some "lovey dovey" pictures before the sun set. Sometime soon when our schedules align once again, we'll hit the road for some more shenanigans and photographs. In the meantime, their family and friends have these lovely gems to look forward to along with their save the date cards.
Arkansas Wild Fall 2017 | Northwest Arkansas Commercial Photography
I recently had the opportunity to hit the road and create a portrait series for the latest issue of Arkansas Wild Magazine. The upcoming issue, entitled Legends & Young Guns, profiles individuals in Arkansas who are extremely active and experienced in areas of outdoor sports and conservation. Today, I'm sharing the portrait series here on the blog. Enjoy!
The Preacher's Son | Northwest Arkansas Commercial Photography
I'm convinced that you cannot live in Northwest Arkansas and not hear about The Preacher's Son, a fairly new restaurant and bar concept from the brilliant minds of The Ropeswing Group. The atmosphere is beautifully dramatic, yet homey and subtle. And the food...well the food is downright delicious. (You may recall a recent blog post for Food and Farm Magazine recipe for a salad that I couldn't stop eating.) Executive Chef Matt Cooper and his well-trained and good natured kitchen staff use locally sourced ingredients and insane amounts of creativity to create dishes as delicious to eat as they are beautiful to look at. I recently had the opportunity to hang out in the kitchen and create some images for the restaurant and today, I'm sharing a few of my favorites. Enjoy.
For full menu and hours, visit The Preacher's Son website.
Anna & Macy | Northwest Arkansas Wedding Photography
Today on the blog, I'm happy to share some of my favorite images from Anna and Macy's Wedding. They are dear, dear friends of mine and fellow creatives as well. I am very honored that they entrusted me to creatively capture their best day ever. Congratulations & Best Wishes, you two!
Marlon Blackwell Architects | Northwest Arkansas Commercial Photography
