It's easy to see why Saturday afternoon with Brad and Bonnie was the complete opposite of boring. These two are adventurous, kind hearted and passionate about loving each other and the world around them. We finally hit the road for their engagement photos on Saturday afternoon after rescheduling twice due to rain and today, I'm sharing a few of my favorites. Happy Monday!

Say hello to Cody and Abigail. They're getting married this year and this past Saturday, we hit the road for their engagement photos. "I don't want a lot of pictures where we're really close and breathing on each other", is what Cody told me when we met. This comment was of course, followed by much laughter as Abigail protested that she wanted some "romantic" photographs. We also managed to get sort of lost on a back country road but Abigail and her Verizon phone navigated us back to the highway fairly quickly. Here's a few of my favorite images from the afternoon. The weather has been pretty iffy lately and I've had to reschedule multiple times for some people. But Sean and Lindsey picked a gorgeous day to be out and about. I recently had the opportunity to hang out with Roman and Kailey, who were in town for the holidays. Aside from a stop for coffee at Puritan Brew Company, we braved the cold weather together and adventured around Fayetteville for their engagement photos. There's a lot of great ways to start out the year but getting married is quite possibly one of the best. For these two childhood friends/sweethearts, it was a joyous celebration and a new beginning in their well-established relationship. Their celebration was shared by friends and family at the Victory Theater in historic downtown Rogers and it was a wonderful way to start the new year. Over the years, my work has taken me to a variety of locations around the country and around the world. Say hello to The Highroller Cyclery. Since 1972, they've been helping people experience the joy and the adventure of cycling. They started out in Fayetteville and in 2013, opened their second location in Rogers. I was hired to produce an updated website for them and of course, that meant spending some time photographing their locations as well. Typically, rain on a wedding day can produce some very stressful results. But after John & Stacy’s rainy day engagement session, the mild showers and sporadic drizzle of the early morning did nothing to arouse their stress levels. And wouldn’t you know it…In true Fall weather form, the skies cleared off, the temperatures remained comfortable and tons of fun was had by all. It’s been a joy and a privilege getting to know these two over the past few months and I wish them the very best in their journey together. It is always a sincere honor and joy to celebrate the anticipation of a new baby with dear friends. And the Trewetts are some of the best friends you could ask for. They enjoy exercise, adventure and all things Kansas City. Their new little girl has a great life ahead of her and we are excited to be a part of it. Congrats you guys.
