It was a weekend full of celebration for Roman and Kailey and I was honored to be a part of it. Many sincere thank you's to them for having me, their wonderful families for making me feel at home, their energetic friends for making the day even more memorable, and the best wedding planner in the area, Melissa Holmes, for pulling it altogether. Also, special thanks to Crystal Bridges Museum staff for being so accommodating and last but CERTAINLY not least, my good friend and fellow photographer, Jessika Layton for helping me document their special day. Today on the blog, I'm excited to share a few of my favorite images from Carey and Becca's wedding. When we met, Becca told me how fun her family would be and from the time I showed up to start shooting to the time they ran through a parade of sparklers to make their exit, I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Today on the blog, a few of my favorite images from my afternoon with Dakota and Katherine. This was our second attempt at scheduling around inclement weather and luckily, we hit a nice window of sunshine. If only everything in life worked out like that :) Enjoy. 

Not all wedding celebrations involve white dresses, crazy dance moves and pyrotechnic send-offs. Case in point, Anthony and Sarah's intimate wedding celebration. But even though this informal celebration was limited to very close family and friends, it was not without its "pyrotechnics". Among the evening's festivities were life-sized lawn games, cotton candy, popcorn, a poolside fire pit, classy music, a little bit of dancing and a dinner cooked by Chef William Lyle. Not to mention, all of the gorgeous details and decorations produced by Melissa Holmes of Sweet Tea Designs. And while everything about their celebration was well thought out and top-notch, the entire theme of the evening was about having a small, intimate get-together with family and close friends. There's a new Farmers Market in town...downtown, that is. A new and improved Rogers Farmers Market is now open in on Saturday mornings in Downtown Rogers. The market, which opened last weekend is held in a newly renovated indoor/outdoor space complete with a full kitchen, public restrooms, food trucks and green space. Congratulations to Kristen King on her beautiful wedding this past weekend. Although I wasn't there for her big day, I was able to meet her a few weeks before for bridal portraits, all dressed up and looking awesome. I have officially been contracted by the Rogers Lowell Chamber of Commerce and Visit Rogers to create an updated library of imagery for the city of Rogers. This project will be a year-long endeavor and will consist of imagery from local events, amenities, architecture, businesses, restaurants and lifestyle.

Congratulations and Best Wishes to Seth and Myra Hollingsworth. I know Seth & Myra through some mutual friends and also, through the Fayetteville outdoors store Packrat, where they both work. Their celebration was complete with family, friends, great weather, incredible dance moves and hands down, the best getaway car I have ever seen at a wedding.
