For the last 20 years, we've called Downtown Rogers home. And during that time, we've seen restaurants come and go. The current lineup in DTR remains diverse and of a caliber that would likely straighten out Jame's Beard. But when all is said and done, the tried and true unsung culinary hero of the Downtown Rogers community has to be the legendary gas station BLT from Jiffy Kwick. Long time residents and people "in the know" would likely agree with that statement. Everyone else probably has no idea what I'm talking about. Hence the Blog Post.

And every year, I am pleasantly surprised at how much time has gone by since I started this little photo + video company. What started in 2006 as a "next step" after leaving the confines of my corporate cubicle has become my full time job, my career and without a doubt, a huge part of my life. This year marks the 20th year of Novo Studio.
And so this year, we celebrate.

Read MoreLast weekend, our beloved Northwest Arkansas area was hit hard by a series of Tornados. Everyone's personal story with this event is different. But the beauty of a disaster situation is that it creates opportunities for help to be given and received, community to be experienced and lives to be changed for the better, even if it seems like it's temporarily for the worse. That's my 2 cents, anyway. The brutal truth though, is that we all got hit REALLY hard and personally, that's something that is dawning on me more and more everyday.
