DH Farms | Northwest Arkansas Commercial Photography
Today on the blog, new work for the University of Arkansas’s Center for Farms and Food. For this photoshoot, we visited a small family-run, certified organic farm atop a beautiful hill outside of Westfork Arkansas. The farm is simply known as the dH farm and they offer everything from fresh vegetables and flowers, to meats and eggs. Frank, the resident intern at the farm (as well as the rest of the family), took us on a tour of the grounds and introduced us to all the animals including their two dogs, Naomi (pictured above) and Rex, a little floppy-eared brute. For more information on dH farm’s products, visit their Fayetteville Farmer’s Market Website vendor page here.
B-Unlimited | Northwest Arkansas Commercial Photography
Today on the blog: Recent work for our good friends over at B-Unlimited. Years ago, we created some initial marketing images for them. But with a new location and a new website to match, it was time to do it all over again. Some notable things about this experience:
• They’re really nice people
• They’re REALLY good at Ping Pong
• They have their craft down to an artistic science
• When you’re wearing a mask on a photoshoot and you sneeze, it’s kind of a terrible experience.
Cheers to Monday!
Dripping Springs Gardens | Northwest Arkansas Commercial Photography
Happy Monday Everyone. Today on the blog, new work for the University of Arkansas’s Center for Farms and Food. For this photoshoot, we worked with Dripping Springs Garden, a certified organic farm located outside of Huntsville Arkansas. Over the course of the next few months, we’ll be continuing to work with CAFF to feature other local farms. Enjoy the photos and if you can, shop local. Dripping Springs, along with the other farms we’ll feature have a presence at our local Farmers Markets and also offer online ordering and delivery options. In many ways, Summer is the easiest season to eat healthier.
Fayetteville Public Library | Northwest Arkansas Commercial Photography
Here’s a blast from the past…some not-so-recent work for the Fayetteville Public Library. This blog post was sitting in the queue as a draft and somehow, we never posted it. But today’s the day! Enjoy.
Kessler Trail Run Afterparty! | Northwest Arkansas Event Photography
This year, I participated in the Kessler Trail Run. And by participated, I mean that I ran 6 miles on the trail and then, photographed the after party while sipping beer and conversing with familiar and unfamiliar faces. You know. “Work”. Good times, indeed.
Experience Fayetteville | Northwest Arkansas Commercial Photography
Fayetteville Arkansas knows how to throw a good party. (And not just of the college variety) Case in point, their First Thursday events that happen every first Thursday of the month during the warmer seasons in Arkansas. Their last one for the year was last week and I had the opportunity to attend it and photograph it. They also debuted their new Veoride Bike Share Program, making the city even more bike-friendly (which I didn’t think was possible). Party on, Fayetteville.
Nicole Clowney | Northwest Arkansas Commercial Photography
I recently had the opportunity to work with political candidate Nicole Clowney, to create some photos for her campaign. I would attempt to summarize how cool she is, but her Facebook Page does such a good job that I feel I should simply copy and paste it here:
Troy & Marian | Northwest Arkansas Engagement Photography
Today on the blog...a few of my favorite images from a recent evening with Troy and Marian. Tennis anyone?
Jeffery & Shelby | Northwest Arkansas Wedding Photography
Today on the blog, I'm excited to share some images from Jeffery and Shelby's wedding. It's been fun getting to know them better throughout the whole process and their celebration at the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks was definitely one for the books. Literally. To date, I had never had a bride and groom get soaking wet dancing in the rain together and I had also never had a groom (or anyone for that matter) do their first dance with an Evil Knievel motorcycle helmet. Thanks to Jeff and Shelby, I can add both of those to my "this actually happened at a wedding" list. Also, thanks to Melissa Holmes of Sweet Tea Designs who somehow, manages to keep everything and everyone in good order during every wedding I work with her. (It's because she's a rockstar)
Cheers and enjoy the sneak peek!
Eric & Meisha | Northwest Arkansas Engagement Photography
Happy Happy Monday to you all. Today, I'm posting a few photos of these two love birds. I had the privilege of meeting of them last weekend for their engagement photos. We spent some time in the good city of Fayetteville while sharing stories and laughs. Here's a few of my favorite images from the evening. Enjoy.

Another post from the unpublished drafts section of the blog: These are from a commercial project creating imagery for the University of Arkansas Art Department. Enjoy!
Kiln 2 Table | Northwest Arkansas Event Photography
Another blog post from the unpublished drafts section of the blog: These images were created at an event held last December by the University of Arkansas Art Department in collaboration with Arsega's at the Depot. All of the design elements (including menus, place settings, bowls, plates and glasses) were created by university students and the menu was prepared by Chef Patrick Lane, Head Chef at the restaurant. The event was a fundraiser for the Art Department and it was a huge success.
Red Barn Studio Live Sessions | 2015 Fayetteville Roots Festival
Part of my sabbatical plan is to update my website. And while working through some of these changes, it has come to my attention that there are some "unpublished drafts" in my blog. Of course the only logical thing to do is publish them. So, here goes. Fayetteville Roots Festival, circa 2015. Enjoy.
10 Year Anniversary | Northwest Arkansas Photography
You know you're in the thick of a busy season when you just so happen to click on a professional social network only to find that...
Washington Regional Annual Report | Northwest Arkansas Commercial Photography
I recently had the opportunity to document a few of the truly gifted doctors, nurses and caretakers at Washington Regional Medical Center. The resulting images were used in their 2016 report to the community, which was designed and produced by the Fayetteville design firm, DOXA. Here are a few of my favorite images from the project. Enjoy.

Congratulations to Derek and Anne on their beautiful wedding this past weekend. Today on the blog, I'm excited to share a few of my favorite images from the celebration. It was a sincere honor and privilege to meet you both and to share this special day with you. Thanks for having me and thanks to Stephen Ironside for the referral.
Carey & Becca | Northwest Arkansas Wedding Photography
Today on the blog, I'm excited to share a few of my favorite images from Carey and Becca's wedding. When we met, Becca told me how fun her family would be and from the time I showed up to start shooting to the time they ran through a parade of sparklers to make their exit, I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Thanks for having me, you two. And CONGRATULATIONS!
Inside DOXA | Northwest Arkansas Commercial Photography
A few weeks back, I had the opportunity to spend some time photographing life in the office at my favorite local design agency, DOXA. My history with DOXA began in college with a graphic design internship and it has continued over the years with commercial photography. I'm very thankful, not only for the creative inspiration that I've gleaned from working with the people at DOXA, but also for the friendships that I've formed with them. They are truly a good group of people to work with.
Roman & Kailey | Northwest Arkansas Engagement Photography
I recently had the opportunity to hang out with Roman and Kailey, who were in town for the holidays. Aside from a stop for coffee at Puritan Brew Company, we braved the cold weather together and adventured around Fayetteville for their engagement photos. We were joined by our trusty wedding planner, Melissa from Sweet Tea Designs and much laughter and fun was had by all. Here's a few of my favorite images from the day. Enjoy.
