I recently had the opportunity to collaborate once again with the crew from Red Barn Studio Live Sessions. The lineup during this year's Fayetteville Roots Festival featured a unique mix of music styles and personalities. The first video from the series was released today and features Iron and Wine. Give it a watch or a listen or preferably, both. Long live singer/songwriter rock and roll. 

After a crazy busy wedding and engagement season last summer, I was excited to be back at the Fayetteville Roots Festival this year. In collaboration with the wonderful guys from Red Barn Studio Live Sessions, I helped to create live session music videos for the likes of John Paul White, John Fulbright, Iron and Wine and Nick Offerman to name a few. Part of my sabbatical plan is to update my website. And while working through some of these changes, it has come to my attention that there are some "unpublished drafts" in my blog. Today on the blog, I'm excited to be sharing images from this year's commercial photography projects. I have developed a strong love for telling stories of products, people, environments and companies through imagery and over the years, I've had the privilege of working on some very interesting projects. 2015 was certainly no exception. Many many thanks to the clients who made these images possible. 

Many photographers (myself included) have jumped on the Sam Hurd bandwagon by waving glass prisms in front of their lenses while creating images. And why not? It's unique, unexpected and given the right light, can produce some beautiful results. But on a recent video shoot, I discovered that you could create a similar effect by using a Nalgene Water Bottle.
