Malcom + Hubbard / Yosemite
Over the last couple of years, I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with Malcom Trousers and Hubbard Clothing Company on different photoshoots. There have been large mansions, sleepy rivers and vibrant oceans. Each time I travel with them, it seems the places we venture to become prettier and prettier. This most recent trip to Yosemite National Park was no different.
Client : Malcom Trousers.
Available Locally : Hubbard Clothing Co.
Louise Cafe
Thaden Field is well known for making aviation accessible to the area locals. And if you happen to eat at the nice little restaurant attached to it, you might find that the airport should also be known for its good food and laid back atmosphere. The restaurant, named Louise, sits inside a quaint airport space that looks out onto the runway area. While typically open for breakfast and lunch, Louise recently started offering some dinner service Thursday through Saturday, from 4pm to 8pm (no reservations required). And on Saturdays, they feature live music. The space itself is setup for indoor and outdoor dining with lawn games and plenty of space for your kids to play while you’re enjoying those adult beverages and adult conversations. This will be a welcome addition to ever-growing nightlife in Bentonville, especially if you prefer the laid back and quieter sort of night life. For more information or to view the menu, visit their website.
Summer Reset
They say time heals all wounds. But in the fast-paced world of running your own business, time is often a luxury you don't have. That is, until you decide to take some time for yourself. And that's exactly what I did this Summer.
Heirloom at the 1907
Over the years, my work in F&B has afforded me the opportunity to photograph (and at times, enjoy) many delicious meals and beverages. Safe to say, Heirloom at the 1907 has always been on my bucket list but try as I might, I just couldn't ever seem to score the tickets. My bad luck finally switched to good fortune when…
A Summer Update
It's been a busy Spring and Summer thus far. I said goodbye to Jared as he left Novo Studio to join the photo/video team at Crystal Bridges full time and I spent the better part of April…
AKiN'S Natural Foods | Arkansas Commercial Photo + Video
Long before the infamous grocery store chain known as Whole Foods invaded Fayetteville and Rogers, another establishment quietly but firmly took up residence in the area. Since 2014, Akin's Natural Foods has been serving our community with carefully curated grocery items, fresh, organic produce and the largest selection of vitamins and supplements in the area. But Akin's history is much older than 2014…
The Gas Station Sandwich | Arkansas Commercial Photography
For the last 20 years, we've called Downtown Rogers home. And during that time, we've seen restaurants come and go. The current lineup in DTR remains diverse and of a caliber that would likely straighten out Jame's Beard. But when all is said and done, the tried and true unsung culinary hero of the Downtown Rogers community has to be…
Novo Studio 20 Year Anniversary | Arkansas Commercial Photography and Video Production
Every year, the good folks at Linked In remind of my work anniversary. And every year, I am pleasantly surprised at how much time has gone by since I started this little photo + video company. What started in 2006 as a "next step" after leaving the confines of my corporate cubicle has become…
BUF Studio | Northwest Arkansas Commercial Video
Novo Studio recently completed a video project highlighting the creative work of BUF Studio in Bentonville, Arkansas. The project demonstrates Novo Studio’s capacity for producing polished commercial video that communicates brand values, highlights product quality, and supports local creative businesses. Enjoy the show!
Holiday Hibernation | Arkansas Commercial Photography
After a crazy busy year of work plus the added drama of losing a parent and undergoing a surgery to repair an umbilical hernia, I think it's safe to say that I need to slow down for awhile.
Happy Holidays, See you in the New Year.
Isabel | Arkansas Portrait Photography
These days, we don't do many high school senior portrait sessions. But when someone wants something very unique and atypical of the traditional, we can't say no.

Recent Work | Arkansas Commercial Photography
In this edition of “busy season craziness but here’s a recent work update”, we’ve got everything from farms, to pool parties, to cocktails, high-powered spray washers, hotel grand openings, moody portraits and even a possible Alexander Calder sculpture (verification pending). I’m sure we’ll do all this again in September. In the meantime, stay healthy, stay cool and stay awesome.
Cheers.
Meg Ryan Yoga NWA | Arkansas Commercial Photography
For many people (myself included), the idea of practicing Yoga can be intimidating and overwhelming. There are so many different types of Yoga, different poses, areas of focus, and reasons for even considering it and committing to it. Yoga is one of the few exercises that seems to bridge the gap between exercise, spirituality and self-awareness. And there's lots of options for Yoga teachers and studios in our area. So if you're interested in Yoga purely for the fitness aspect, make sure you focus your search accordingly. But if you are interested in Yoga because you are interested in discovering more about and connecting with your inner self, Meg Ryan Yoga is a great option.
As you may have guessed, Meg Ryan is not the same Meg Ryan you remember from movies such as Sleepless in Seattle and You've got Mail. She is also not your typical Yoga teacher. While her credentials read like equal parts professional yoga instructor and spiritual mystic, her practical, lighthearted personality will make your Yoga experiences valuable, enjoyable and most importantly, meaningful. Meg recently rebranded, launched a new website. Here's a few favorite images from the shoot.
Enjoy.
Parlor Doughnuts | Northwest Arkansas Video Production
Parlor Doughnuts is now open in Rogers. Here’s a little sneak peek from their opening day. Cheers!
A Year Later / 2024 Rogers Arkansas Tornado
"Well, it's been a year." For many, it's probably been the longest year of their lives. Some have spent the year trying to find some normalcy while they've lived with friends, or family or out of hotels. Almost everyone had to deal with insurance companies and for some, that was a big struggle. Some people got some upgrades to their homes while others chose to or were forced to abandon their homes (or what was left of them) altogether. Business were effected or in some cases, obliterated. And overall, the landscape still looks battered and tired. Whatever your personal experience was with last year's tornados, it's safe to assume that people are still, even after a full year later, "dealing with it." And so here are a few photos to sum up the above words. For timing context, please note that most of these photos were taken on June 3rd, 2025...a little over a year after the tornado.
Blake Street House | Arkansas Commercial Photography
It’s been a busy few months for the fine folks at Blake Street House. In recent weeks, they’ve managed to revamp, rework and launch three new internal food and beverage concepts for members and guests. And I can safely say that all three are delicious and exciting.
Neal Family Farm | Arkansas Commercial Photography
The Neal Family Farm is wildly popular with residents of Northwest Arkansas. And while they are best known for their delicious blueberries, this year (and for the first time ever), they decided to plant tulips. As you can see from the photos, the results were stunning. We were happy to work with their marketing agency, Fuss Consulting, to document the opening day. Here’s a few photos from the event. For more information on their tulips and their upcoming blueberry season, visit their website, their Facebook page or give them a follow on instagram.

Crafton Tull | Arkansas Commercial Video Production
This week on the blog, we're featuring a short video project we recently created for Crafton Tull and their presence at the annual Rogers Lowell Chamber of Commerce Meeting. This video is part of a couple of larger, ongoing projects that we are currently working on for the firm. A fun fact for this project was that we were able to use one of their own employees (and a quiet storage closet) to record the voiceover portion of the project. Enjoy!
From My Window Seat | Arkansas Commercial Photography
Like most people, I enjoy traveling for work. I think that the change in routine, combined with a little stress and some distance from an ongoing “to do” list does wonders for one’s mind, body and soul. The sad reality though, is that I don’t often have a lot of downtime to get out and explore the areas where I travel. So I do what I can, which is usually snap photos from a moving vehicle. Photographing from a moving vehicle is challenging and also, very efficient. You can really see a lot of interesting things in a short amount of time in a vehicle. And if you’re not tasked with driving, you can completely focus on the world moving by your window. The following photos were taken late last year and early this year during work trips to Philadelphia and New York.
