Jeffery & Shelby | Northwest Arkansas Wedding Photography
Today on the blog, I'm excited to share some images from Jeffery and Shelby's wedding. It's been fun getting to know them better throughout the whole process and their celebration at the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks was definitely one for the books. Literally. To date, I had never had a bride and groom get soaking wet dancing in the rain together and I had also never had a groom (or anyone for that matter) do their first dance with an Evil Knievel motorcycle helmet. Thanks to Jeff and Shelby, I can add both of those to my "this actually happened at a wedding" list. Also, thanks to Melissa Holmes of Sweet Tea Designs who somehow, manages to keep everything and everyone in good order during every wedding I work with her. (It's because she's a rockstar)
Cheers and enjoy the sneak peek!
Bear State Bank Feature | Northwest Arkansas Commercial Photography
This week, I am honored to be featured on the Bear State Bank blog. I've been working with Bear State for years now and they are great clients and good friends of mine. I've visited most of their branches in Arkansas, Missouri and Oklahoma and I have to say that in all honesty, every one of those branches is operated by friendly, hospitable and knowledgable people. I love being a part of their ever-growing business and laid back, personable culture. Thank you all so much for the feature.
Jeff & Sarah | Kansas City Wedding Photography
Congratulations to Jeff and Sarah who were married over the weekend in what I can only describe, as the worst wedding day weather I've encountered in over 10 years of photographing weddings. But that didn't stop them from riding a trolley all over downtown and stopping off for photos. Here's a few from their celebration. Enjoy!
Wes & Sarah | Northwest Arkansas Engagement Photography
Tomorrow is tax day. But today is engagement photos on the blog day. Here's a few of my favorites with Wes and Sarah. Enjoy!
Throwback Thursday / Wiser Time
It's only been a couple of weeks since my trip to Wiser Time, but it seems as if it's been longer. Wiser Time as best as I can describe it, is a name given to a magical place by a magical group of people who find it imperative to disconnect from the fast-paced hustle and bustle of everyday life in order to refresh and recharge. And while there is some debate over the true origin and meaning of the name, most can agree that it directly relates to the physical, mental and spiritual healing qualities that come from intentionally removing oneself civilization and spending time in the great outdoors. Many thanks to the guys who introduced me to this magical place and in doing so, encouraged me to remove myself from everyday life more often.
Throwback Thursday / This Old Building
As I was driving through a town recently, I was struck by this building with no roof. I promptly stopped and parked. As I walked around the premises quietly surveying the remains, I realized that what it lacked in functionality it more than made up for in personality and character. As best I can tell, it was an old automotive store/shop. I'm not sure what happened to the roof, or portions of the actual building. But I can tell you that I felt right at home there.
