This week on the blog, we're featuring a short video project we recently created for Crafton Tull and their presence at the annual Rogers Lowell Chamber of Commerce Meeting. This video is part of a couple of larger, ongoing projects that we are currently working on for the firm. Spend enough time in Northwest Arkansas and you’re bound to hear someone mention Fox Trail Distillery. They’ll probably mention that Fox Trail is the only distillery in this area. There’s really no other way to describe this place other than to say it’s super delicious and dangerously addicting. Beloved by many and known all over the country, Ozark Beer Company is somewhat of an institution in the craft beer world. From their humble beginnings in a nondescript warehouse on 1st street, to their current location in the heart of Downtown Rogers, Ozark Beer has been turning out some of the state’s (and the nation’s) most interesting and most delicious beer. They are known for their famous bourbon aged stouts, their ability to collaborate with local businesses and institutions to produce specialty beers based on everything from locally grown and available produce to art installations and music festivals. Their taproom was a busy gathering place for regulars, Downtown Rogers Farmer’s Market goers, weekend shoppers, cyclists from Lake Atalanta and curious out-of-towners who were undoubtedly directed there by some article they read in a publication.

Recently affected by the Covid 19 Pandemic, they like many others, have been forced to shut down their tap room and scale back their staff. But they are still hard at work, producing their beer for store distribution and for drive thru pickup at their facility. Next time you’re forced to go the store, please consider supporting them, either by looking for their products on the store shelves or picking up some 6 packs at the brewery.

Rogers is our home and it has been for some time. Every year, the annual Frisco Festival brings hundreds of people to our beloved downtown and this year was no different. But things are changing for the better and for the second year in a row, Visit Rogers has added to the Frisco Festival experience by providing unique experiences and events to showcase some of the people and products that make our town unique. And as always, we loved the chance to walk around photograph it all. Cheers.

Clean water is a vital part of our lives and the men and women pictured here work very hard, oftentimes behind the scenes, to make sure our city has the highest quality water and the best infrastructure for delivering that water. It’s been a crazy busy week for both Jared and I as we’ve been on-location and apart most of the week for work. But we met up at the bike shop yesterday to pick up a few things and I got my first look at the new Bike Arkansas Magazine issue. Coincidentally, I also came across this awesome video clip that Jared shot while we were in the woods the day of the shoot so I thought I’d share both here on the blog. Over the course of the last 2 years, I've been working with Visit Rogers to create a library of imagery that they can use to market our beautiful town to the locals and the visitors alike. I recently had the opportunity to tag along on a video shoot and create a few new still images. And of course, that meant sampling some delicious food and drink as well. Based on my "market research", I highly recommend the following: Cooking Studio of Downtown Rogers, Levi's, Bocca, Ozark Beer Company, Iron Horse Coffee Company, and if you like food trucks, City Pump. But please...don't take my word for it, try them yourself!

Today, I am wishing my dear friends and next-door business neighbors a fond farewell and happy retirement. Trolley Line Bookshop was a local favorite long before I moved in next door. This was largely due to the personable owners, Pat and Myra Moran who never tired of making friends and involving themselves in the community for the better of everyone. Their shop had the cozy and quaint feel of a neighborly downtown business because it was genuine and not manufactured and their presence (as well as their incredible selection of interesting reads) will be sorely missed. Cheers and Best Wishes, you two and thanks for everything.
