Sand Goons | Northwest Arkansas Commercial Photography
Today on the blog: Recent work for Sand Goons USA, a lifestyle brand aimed at people who love sand sports. Sand Goons USA is the brain child of Nate Allen, an avid lover and participant in sand sports. And in case you can’t tell from the pictures, sand sports consists of driving things (usually dirt bikes, 4 wheelers and ATVS) really fast through desert sands. This photoshoot was another classic example of why commercial photography continues to be a favorite; Not only were we able to create some super fun content, but we were able to learn about and experience another sport and its surrounding culture.
Cheers, Friends.

Arkansas Wild | Northwest Arkansas Commercial Photography
Raising a family in Arkansas has its outdoorsy perks. And the upcoming issue of Arkansas Wild Magazine highlights some of the ways families can embrace the great outdoors in our beautiful state. I recently met up with the publisher for Arkansas Wild, Brooke Wallace and her husband Thomas at their family cabin outside of Jasper to hang out and create some images for the feature. Thomas and Brooke love the outdoors and they make it a way of life to share that love with their two kids. With the fall weather approaching, this is the perfect time to get inspired to have more outdoor time with the ones you love. Happy Monday.
DH Farms | Northwest Arkansas Commercial Photography
Today on the blog, new work for the University of Arkansas’s Center for Farms and Food. For this photoshoot, we visited a small family-run, certified organic farm atop a beautiful hill outside of Westfork Arkansas. The farm is simply known as the dH farm and they offer everything from fresh vegetables and flowers, to meats and eggs. Frank, the resident intern at the farm (as well as the rest of the family), took us on a tour of the grounds and introduced us to all the animals including their two dogs, Naomi (pictured above) and Rex, a little floppy-eared brute. For more information on dH farm’s products, visit their Fayetteville Farmer’s Market Website vendor page here.
Schwinn Millsaps CX | Arkansas Product Lifestyle Photography
Today on the blog: Recent work for Pacific Cycle. a division of Dorel Sports. We were recently hired to create some marketing images for a new Schwinn Road/Off-Road bicycle. They told us specifically that they wanted a cyclocross course feel along with mud splattering. We happily obliged by setting up a makeshift course and hiring a cyclist model to ride through all kinds of terrain, especially splish splashy stuff. It was a nice bonus that the night before the shoot, it actually rained so there was plenty of mud to splatter about in. In the end, we came away with some amazing images and very dirty bicycle, which we tried to clean up before returning (but I’m afraid we missed some spots).
Happy Monday!

Yeyo's at the 1907 | Northwest Arkansas Commercial Photography
Happy Taco Tuesday everyone. Today on the blog, we’re sharing some semi-recent work from Yeyo’s new location in our very own Downtown Rogers. Earlier this year, we were hired to create some images for High Street Development’s work on the renovated 1907 building and the new Yeyo’s was among the spaces we spent some time in. The physical space achieves the sense of being small and neighborly while the abundance of natural light, tall ceilings and the realization that there is a mezzanine with additional seating above your head gives you the feeling that you have plenty of room to breathe and enjoy your meal.
And I promise….you will enjoy your meal.
Cheers.
Bike Month 2020 | Arkansas Cycling Photography
Well, here we are in May of 2020, also known as Bike Month. Traditionally, we’ve celebrated with numerous social gatherings, group rides and even a large Square to Square event. No one could’ve predicted that this year, we’d have to juggle celebrating bikes and our beloved cycling community while dealing with the realities of a worldwide pandemic. Like so very many, we’ve gained a newfound love and appreciation for…(click to read more)
Spring BRAKE Feature | Doxa/Vantage
Certainly during these times of social and disrupted work patterns, people are missing their work colleagues. For us, that includes the fine folks at DOXA. Some of our favorite clients have been introduced to us by this established design firm, located in Fayetteville Arkansas. Among them are the Fayetteville Public Library, The University of Arkansas School of Art, High Street Development and Susan Schadt Press. Back in February, they announced a merger with local media and marketing agency, Vantage Point Communications. The merger will undoubtedly enhance their combined expertise in working with both their local and national client roster. Fingers crossed that they can all occupy their super awesome office space again soon.

Spring BRAKE Feature | Arkansas Wild Magazine
The craziness of the times we’re living in has definitely taken its toll on us all. But in the interest of finding silver linings, I would like to point out that this craziness has sure driven people to spend more time outdoors. And (from 6 feet apart), that’s a very good thing. I imagine people are discovering or rediscovering how beautiful our state actually is. And while a lot of the normal outdoor amenities are closed for obvious reasons, there’s still plenty of opportunities to get out and enjoy yourself. For years now, Arkansas Wild Magazine has…
