If you’re a photographer and you’ve had to work indoors in a building designed by Marlon Blackwell Architects, you can pretty much point your camera in any direction and make a good photograph. As you can imagine, the same could be said of photographing in their offices. With a website refresh on the horizon, they invited us to do just that.

Today on the blog: Recent commercial photography work for Architect, Caitlin Kelley | MArch AIA NCARB. Caitlin is an award-winning architect, specializing in high-end custom residential design and unique commercial projects. Prior to moving to Bentonville Arkansas to work on the Tourmaline Urban Lofts project, Caitlin resided in Southern California where she worked as an architect on residential and commercial projects while also working as an adjunct professor for the NewSchool of Architecture + Design in San Diego, California.

Among her talents and qualifications as an architect, Caitlin also enjoys painting and playing the piano. In fact prior to being an architect, Caitlin worked as a professional musician. We recently had the opportunity to work with Caitlin to create some updated marketing imagery for her new brand design and website (currently in the works by the extremely talented Jacobs and Co.). Recently, we paid a visit to the newly opened Osage Park, located in Bentonville Arkansas. The Peel Compton Foundation tasked us with providing them some marketing photos, highlighting the beautiful natural settings as well as the stunning architecture designs and details of the spaces. Say hello to Mavis Wine Company, a brand new and already-popular business in Downtown Rogers. Owners Jeffery and Meghan opened up the small wine shop / bodega / eating establishment recently, after moving from Los Angeles. Coming from the film industry, the two decided they needed new experiences and a somewhat slower pace of life.

We recently interviewed them for a Go Downtown Rogers social media feature and we are also sharing the photos, along with the interview here on the blog. It’s a good read and their space photographs extremely well. But if you don’t make a trip down here to try their delicious food and wine in person, you will TRULY be missing out.
