Raising a family in Arkansas has its outdoorsy perks. And the upcoming issue of Arkansas Wild Magazine highlights some of the ways families can embrace the great outdoors in our beautiful state. I recently met up with the publisher for Arkansas Wild, Brooke Wallace and her husband Thomas at their family cabin outside of Jasper to hang out and create some images for the feature. Thomas and Brooke love the outdoors and they make it a way of life to share that love with their two kids. Spring BRAKE | Northwest Arkansas Lifestyle Photography

Last week, I took a few days to detach from work and life. I camped out, slept in the truck, did some fishing (caught nothing), read some books by the river, played my guitar, sat by the fire, explored some scenic roads and made some photographs.
