Pintura Festival at Crystal Bridges | Northwest Arkansas Event Photography
We recently had the opportunity to experience Crystal Bridge’s Pintura Festival, cameras in-hand. Of course, carrying around our cameras didn’t leave our hands free to enjoy the delicious looking street corn they were serving. But sometimes as a commercial photographer, those are the breaks. We did however get to witness…(click to read more)
The Year in Rewind // Arkansas Lifestyle and Commercial Photography
It's that time of year again; The time of year where I try to recap an entire year's worth of photography work in a couple of blog posts and by doing so, post WAY too many photos. First up, a look back at my year in Lifestyle and Commercial Photographs. Enjoy.
Dwayne & Rose | Northwest Arkansas Wedding Photography
Congratulations and Best Wishes to Dwayne & Rose. Their beautiful, intimate and charming wedding celebration was held last weekend in a beautiful little corner of Downtown Bentonville Arkansas. I was honored to spend the evening with this incredible couple along with their family and friends and today, I'm sharing a few of my favorite photos here on the blog. Thanks for having me, you two.
Roman & Kailey | Northwest Arkansas Wedding Photography
It was a weekend full of celebration for Roman and Kailey and I was honored to be a part of it. Many sincere thank you's to them for having me, their wonderful families for making me feel at home, their energetic friends for making the day even more memorable, and the best wedding planner in the area, Melissa Holmes, for pulling it altogether. Also, special thanks to Crystal Bridges Museum staff for being so accommodating and last but CERTAINLY not least, my good friend and fellow photographer, Jessika Layton for helping me document their special day. Enjoy the photos.
Anthony & Sarah | Northwest Arkansas Wedding Photography
Not all wedding celebrations involve white dresses, crazy dance moves and pyrotechnic send-offs. Case in point, Anthony and Sarah's intimate wedding celebration. But even though this informal celebration was limited to very close family and friends, it was not without its "pyrotechnics". Among the evening's festivities were life-sized lawn games, cotton candy, popcorn, a poolside fire pit, classy music, a little bit of dancing and a dinner cooked by Chef William Lyle. Not to mention, all of the gorgeous details and decorations produced by Melissa Holmes of Sweet Tea Designs. And while everything about their celebration was well thought out and top-notch, the entire theme of the evening was about having a small, intimate get-together with family and close friends. Here are a few of my favorite images from the evening. Enjoy.
The Year in Rewind | Northwest Arkansas Commercial Photography
Today on the blog, I'm excited to be sharing images from this year's commercial photography projects. I have developed a strong love for telling stories of products, people, environments and companies through imagery and over the years, I've had the privilege of working on some very interesting projects. 2015 was certainly no exception. Many many thanks to the clients who made these images possible.
Dallas & Madison | Northwest Arkansas Wedding Photography
Congratulations and Best Wishes to Dallas and Madison. They were recently married on the most beautiful of Saturdays at Orchard's Park in Bentonville Arkansas. Amid laughs, tears of joy and the good company of family and friends, they exchanged rings and vows they had written themselves. Here's a few images from their celebration. Enjoy.
Andrew & Jillian | Northwest Arkansas Wedding Photography
Congratulations to Andrew and Jillian on their wedding this past weekend. Here's a few images from their celebration. Enjoy!
Ben & Amanda { A Proposal } | Northwest Arkansas Engagement Photography
Today, we offer our sincerest congratulations and well-wishes to Ben and Amanda. Yesterday, Ben took Amanda for a little stroll around Crystal Bridges. She thought they were meeting some friends there. Little did she know that the "friends rendezvous" was just a ploy to get her to a scenic part of the trails surrounding the museum so that Ben could ask her a very important question.
This is the second proposal we've had the privilege of documenting and let me tell you, it's a FUN experience. I don't know if it's all the sneaking around and hiding in the bushes, the location scouting, the logistical planning, or just the overwhelming anticipation of witnessing such a heartfelt and memorable moment...whatever it is, it's awesome. And today, I'm excited to share this memorable moment in images. Special thanks to the rain for holding off long enough for Ben to stick to "Plan A"...especially since he didn't quite have a "Plan B". :)
Lisa Siler | Northwest Arkansas Bridal Portraits
Today on the blog: Bridal portraits w/ the beautiful Lisa Siler. Enjoy :)
Steve Fineberg & Associates | Northwest Arkansas Commercial Photography
When commercial real estate agent Steve Fineberg approached us about creating some images for his updated brand image, we jumped at the chance....especially when he added the part about them being "non-typical" images of a few iconic landmarks around the area. We created these images using our new Fuji X100s camera. This unassuming little gem of technology proved to be an extraordinary tool in capturing the resulting images. Here's a few of our favorites. Happy Friday!
Josh & Jenna | Northwest Arkansas Engagement Photography
Meet Josh & Jenna.
He works for a church, she works for a LARGE corporation.
Together, they make a super sweet, super cute couple.
Their first date was a hit.
Their second date, which involved a rather awkward Chinese restaurant experience, was....well...awkward.
That story and so many other little stories and comments kept us laughing the entire time we were creating these images. These two are yet another reminder of why we love hanging out with couples and why our work really isn't work at all. Enjoy.

Making Art Out of an Art Museum | Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art
Truth be told, I was going to stick to our somewhat regimented blogging plan and share some "recent work" today. But over the weekend, I happened upon images from a long-lost blog post that died with our old blog so I decided to post them instead. On my first visit ever to Crystal Bridges, I decided to try and make "art" out of the "art museum" using only my iPhone. Here are some of the images that resulted out of this little creative experiment. Happy Monday.
The Koehler Family | Crystal Bridges Family Photography
Lindsay Koehler is a fellow photographer from Conway Arkansas. (http://lindsaykoehlerphotography.com) She creates stunningly beautiful images of families and kids. And yet, it had been a loooooooooong time since she and her wonderful family had been in front of the camera themselves. So we decided to hang out at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art on an evening when there was no one else around and create some memorable images. Here's a few of our favorites.
