It’s no secret that our beloved downtowns are filled with cool alleyways. And as our downtowns continue to grow and revitalize, the traffic in our alleyways is slowly increasing. Late last year, we collaborated with Downtown Rogers Inc. to turn one of our alleyways into an art gallery. The goal was to emphasize the fact that as our alleyways get more foot traffic, the need to keep them clean and safe and even make them more inviting is increasing. To make it even more personal, the art in the gallery was made up entirely of images created in that particular alleyway. Today, we’re sharing some here on the blog.

Happy Monday Everyone. Today on the blog, new work for the University of Arkansas’s Center for Farms and Food. For this photoshoot, we worked with Dripping Springs Garden, a certified organic farm located outside of Huntsville Arkansas. Over the course of the next few months, we’ll be continuing to work with CAFF to feature other local farms. Enjoy the photos and if you can, shop local. Dripping Springs, along with the other farms we’ll feature have a presence at our local Farmers Markets and also offer online ordering and delivery options. In many ways, Summer is the easiest season to eat healthier.

Happy Taco Tuesday everyone. Today on the blog, we’re sharing some semi-recent work from Yeyo’s new location in our very own Downtown Rogers. Earlier this year, we were hired to create some images for High Street Development’s work on the renovated 1907 building and the new Yeyo’s was among the spaces we spent some time in. The physical space achieves the sense of being small and neighborly while the abundance of natural light, tall ceilings and the realization that there is a mezzanine with additional seating above your head gives you the feeling that you have plenty of room to breathe and enjoy your meal.

Certainly during these times of social and disrupted work patterns, people are missing their work colleagues. For us, that includes the fine folks at DOXA. Some of our favorite clients have been introduced to us by this established design firm, located in Fayetteville Arkansas. Among them are the Fayetteville Public Library, The University of Arkansas School of Art, High Street Development and Susan Schadt Press. Back in February, they announced a merger with local media and marketing agency, Vantage Point Communications. The merger will undoubtedly enhance their combined expertise in working with both their local and national client roster. Fingers crossed that they can all occupy their super awesome office space again soon.

The craziness of the times we’re living in has definitely taken its toll on us all. Beloved by many and known all over the country, Ozark Beer Company is somewhat of an institution in the craft beer world. From their humble beginnings in a nondescript warehouse on 1st street, to their current location in the heart of Downtown Rogers, Ozark Beer has been turning out some of the state’s (and the nation’s) most interesting and most delicious beer. They are known for their famous bourbon aged stouts, their ability to collaborate with local businesses and institutions to produce specialty beers based on everything from locally grown and available produce to art installations and music festivals. Their taproom was a busy gathering place for regulars, Downtown Rogers Farmer’s Market goers, weekend shoppers, cyclists from Lake Atalanta and curious out-of-towners who were undoubtedly directed there by some article they read in a publication.

Recently affected by the Covid 19 Pandemic, they like many others, have been forced to shut down their tap room and scale back their staff. But they are still hard at work, producing their beer for store distribution and for drive thru pickup at their facility. Next time you’re forced to go the store, please consider supporting them, either by looking for their products on the store shelves or picking up some 6 packs at the brewery.
