Today on the blog: Recent commercial photography work for Architect, Caitlin Kelley | MArch AIA NCARB. Caitlin is an award-winning architect, specializing in high-end custom residential design and unique commercial projects. Prior to moving to Bentonville Arkansas to work on the Tourmaline Urban Lofts project, Caitlin resided in Southern California where she worked as an architect on residential and commercial projects while also working as an adjunct professor for the NewSchool of Architecture + Design in San Diego, California.

Among her talents and qualifications as an architect, Caitlin also enjoys painting and playing the piano. In fact prior to being an architect, Caitlin worked as a professional musician. We recently had the opportunity to work with Caitlin to create some updated marketing imagery for her new brand design and website (currently in the works by the extremely talented Jacobs and Co.). Today on the blog: A compilation of recent commercial headshots and professional portraits of some of the best people in our little corner of the state. Our headshot and portrait clients range from people featured in magazine articles, to real estate agents, to college professors, food and beverage workers, healthcare professionals, and even (as you’ll see below), professional cyclists. On average, 75 to 80 percent of the people we work with say “I hate having my picture taken.” And that’s ok, because we hate having our pictures taken too. No seriously, we do. But having that connection makes us empathetic towards the people we work with and we try to make the whole process as quick, as painless and as easy going as we can make it. It’s always intriguing to meet new people and learn more about their line of work during the process of creating their portraits. And as you can see from the photos, we tend to have a bit of fun too. Recently, we paid a visit to the newly opened Osage Park, located in Bentonville Arkansas. The Peel Compton Foundation tasked us with providing them some marketing photos, highlighting the beautiful natural settings as well as the stunning architecture designs and details of the spaces. We recently had the opportunity to create a promotional video highlighting and celebrating the collaborative effort between longtime local Harris Baking Company and privately held supermarket chain, HEB Stores Inc. For awhile now, Harris has been tasked with producing Sweet Hawaiian products under HEB’s “Aloha” name. When HEB requested a video presentation to show at their annual meeting, Harris Baking turned to us and allowed us to create the presentation.

Say hello to Mavis Wine Company, a brand new and already-popular business in Downtown Rogers. Owners Jeffery and Meghan opened up the small wine shop / bodega / eating establishment recently, after moving from Los Angeles. Coming from the film industry, the two decided they needed new experiences and a somewhat slower pace of life.

We recently interviewed them for a Go Downtown Rogers social media feature and we are also sharing the photos, along with the interview here on the blog. It’s a good read and their space photographs extremely well. But if you don’t make a trip down here to try their delicious food and wine in person, you will TRULY be missing out.

We are excited to finally share some recent work for Bauer Media Group and the launch of their new magazine by none other than Drew Barrymore. We were tasked with shooting some product images for a few of the ads in the publication. A couple weeks ago, we had the unique opportunity to spend time with two of the world’s great professional cyclists, Rahsaan Bahati and Eliot Jackson. The two riders spent the week hanging out and enjoying our area’s various cycling amenities while also working with the our area’s local chapter of BikePOC and BikeNWA, to promote the process of creating intentional spaces for BIPOC and other marginalized peoples to explore cycling in Northwest Arkansas.
