Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. The local flower shops are busy taking orders, restaurants are filling up with reservations and of course all of the Walmart stores are overstuffed and overstocked with candies and balloons. And while it’s true that this holiday makes most of us think of love in a cute and romantic sort of way, we are taking today to celebrate a different kind of love.

Bear State Financial recently purchased a few different banks in Arkansas and Oklahoma and they wanted to incorporate imagery of all the employees in their new internal and external marketing materials. Over the course of a 2 week period, I had the opportunity to travel to the different branches, meet the employees and photograph them in their work environments. Today, I'm excited to share some portraits of the incredible people that I met while working on this project. No, we didn't go to Chicago recently. But a few years ago, we did. Did we have fun? Not really. Mostly because unbeknownst to me at the time, I had Mono. I think without having Mono though, it would be fun. Not as much fun as New York City of course, but fun nonetheless. One of our early 2015 tasks is backing up and moving files around at the studio and yesterday, I happened upon these pictures. They were made before we ever launched this site but I still felt compelled to share a few here on the blog. Enjoy.
