Today on the blog: Recent work for Sand Goons USA, a lifestyle brand aimed at people who love sand sports. Sand Goons USA is the brain child of Nate Allen, an avid lover and participant in sand sports. And in case you can’t tell from the pictures, sand sports consists of driving things (usually dirt bikes, 4 wheelers and ATVS) really fast through desert sands. This photoshoot was another classic example of why commercial photography continues to be a favorite; Not only were we able to create some super fun content, but we were able to learn about and experience another sport and its surrounding culture.

Say hello to Push Plastic. Located right here in Northwest Arkansas, they are one of a few places in the country that creates and sells 3D printing material. And since they make the material, they of course offer 3D printing services. With a website revamp on the horizon, it was imperative that they have some updated images of their products and also, the processes and details of their business. I recently spent some time learning more about their business while also photographing and creating some motion content for the new site. It was nice to be reminded and also, to discover how far this technology has come and where it’s headed. The amount of things that you can 3D print these days is absolutely unreal. When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to find that they had started creating a 3D print of the Novo Logo, which they of course gifted me when I left. It looks great sitting on a shelf in the studio next to all the old cameras.

Today on the blog: Recent work from a photoshoot with Grace Manufacturing Company in Russellville, Arkansas. Grace Manufacturing uses state-of-the-art technology and mechanical systems to create high-precision metal and plastic parts for clients and customers in a wide range of industries, especially the medical field. This photoshoot was a perfect example of why commercial photography is always appealing. Today on the blog: Recent work for Pacific Cycle. a division of Dorel Sports. We were recently hired to create some marketing images for a new Schwinn Road/Off-Road bicycle. They told us specifically that they wanted a cyclocross course feel along with mud splattering. We happily obliged by setting up a makeshift course and hiring a cyclist model to ride through all kinds of terrain, especially splish splashy stuff. It was a nice bonus that the night before the shoot, it actually rained so there was plenty of mud to splatter about in. In the end, we came away with some amazing images and very dirty bicycle, which we tried to clean up before returning (but I’m afraid we missed some spots).

Today on the blog: Recent work for our good friends over at B-Unlimited. Years ago, we created some initial marketing images for them. But with a new location and a new website to match, it was time to do it all over again. Some notable things about this experience:

• They’re really nice people

• They’re REALLY good at Ping Pong

• They have their craft down to an artistic science

• When you’re wearing a mask on a photoshoot and you sneeze, it’s kind of a terrible experience.
